RIPON, Wis. – Marian University track and field saw four records set at the Red Hawk Invite, the second indoor meet of the season.

The meet was highlighted by Jahlil Turner who set a program record in the 60-meter after clocking in at 7.35 in the preliminaries for the 60-meter dash.  He nearly set that same pace in the finals with a 7.37 to finish sixth and earn three points. Jackson Pfeilsticker also had a strong finish in the 60-meter dash at 7.47 seconds to finish in 15th.

Turner also finished 11th in the 200-meter dash after finishing in 24.21 seconds.  In the 400-meter dash, Madison Ryskoski earned an 11th place finish after clocking in at 54.72.

The men also had a 4×400-meter relay finish of eighth place at 3:46.74, earning a point.  The team consisted of Pfeilsticker, Hunter Meyers, Turner, and Ryskoski.

The women also saw a record fall in the 60-meter dash with Alexandra Jaipuri finishing at 8.48 seconds, good for 11th.  Alison Garcia set a record in the 200-meter when she finished in 14th with a time of 28.51 seconds.

Taylor Keen earned an 11th place finish in the 3,000-meter run after finishing in 12:45.21.  Hannah Doherty finished in 19th place in the 800-meter with a time of 2:46.45, and Kadeesha Duncan had the same finish in the 400-meter at 1:08.33.

In the shotput, Emily Grunwald paced the Sabres with a 21st place finish after a toss of 8.05 meters.

The women’s 4×400-meter relay team of Samantha Lee, Duncan, Garcia, and Jaipuri set the final record of the day after finishing in 4:47.50.

Marian travels to Ripon once more for the Dick Hendricks Invite Saturday, Feb. 15.
