Along with being named first team All-Wisconsin, Fragoso was named Co-Offensive Player of the Year after a breakout senior season. Fragoso led the nation with 23 goals and 53 points, while also adding seven assists. Fragoso had seven multi-goal games and also had six games where he recorded five or more points. During the year, he was named the NACC Player of the Week twice. He also netted the game-winning goal against Beloit, MacMurray and Rockford in double overtime. Fragoso closes out his career with the most goals and points from any Sabre in Marian men’s soccer history. The Cicero, Ill. native was also named first team All-NACC and second team All-Region earlier in the offseason.
Chacon put together another solid season in net for Marian earning a spot on the All-Wisconsin team for the first time. Chacon started in 18 games and compiled a record of 10-7-0. The Sabre keeper ranked third in the NACC with a 1.28 goals against average and 87 saves on the season. He also posted five shutouts on the season to rank atop the NACC. Chacon made eight or more saves in four games this season including an 11-save performance against Wisconsin Lutheran as the Sabres defeated the Warriors 3-1 at home. Also a Cicero, Ill. native, Chacon earned a spot on the All-NACC second team and third team All-Region earlier this offseason.
