WAUKESHA, Wis. – Freshman Connor Houlihan has been named the MLC offensive player of the week after the Sabres opened their inaugural season.
Houlihan (Bridgeview, Ill.) had a six-point week to lead the Sabre offense as they opened their inaugural season. The rookie attacker had a five-point game against the University of Dallas where he scored four goals, one with a man-advantage, and an assist. He also scooped up eight ground balls and forced a pair of turnovers against the Crusaders.
Marian returns to the Midwest traveling to North Central (Minn.) for an 8 p.m. start Saturday, Feb. 24.
