MILWAUKEE – Senior David Britton has been named the NACC Player of the Week for the third time this season, as voted on by the sports information directors of the league.

Britton (Hartford, Wis.) shined throughout the NACC Tournament leading Marian to its second NACC tournament title in program history. He averaged 20.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists over the course of three road games as the Sabres became just the second team in NACC history to win three road games during the conference tournament. Britton capped off the tournament championship run with a game-high 28 points in a 77-71 win over Concordia Wisconsin where he also had four assists and three rebounds. Earlier in the week, he had posted 18 points, nine rebounds, and five assists in an 85-71 quarterfinal win at Illinois Tech Wednesday and 16 points with four rebounds in a 52-49 win at top-seeded Concordia Chicago Friday.

Overall, Britton shot 50 percent (22-of-44) from the field with seven 3-pointers and a perfect 11-for-11 effort at the free-throw line.
