Bossard selected as Marian University’s Teacher of the Month

FOND DU LAC, Wis. – Jessica Brossard, an English teacher at Michicot High School, was selected as Marian University’s March Teacher of the Month. 

Brossard has served as a high school English teacher at Michicot High School since 1999. She currently teaches sophomore and senior English classes, as well as Honors English through the CAPP program associated with Silver Lake College and UW-Oshkosh. Brossard also serves as the junior class advisor and as the coach of the high school forensic team. Brossard earned her bachelor’s degree in English education from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, and her master’s degree in education from Olivet Nazarene University. 

The Teacher of the Month contest, presented by Marian University and WIXX, highlights one area teacher each month. Marian University presents each recipient with a complimentary gift certificate valid for a one credit graduate level professional development course worth $250. In addition, each Teacher of the Month recipient will receive a wine gift basket from Forgotten Fire Winery or Falling Waters Winery; a $100 gift certificate from the Day Spa; a $100 gift certificate from School House; a 100 wing party from The Bar, Hagemeister Park or Graystone Ale House; apparel from Marian University; and a cake from Festival Foods for the teacher’s lounge. 

Deserving teachers may be nominated by visiting Marian University will select one teacher at the end of each month.
