Pinson (Racine, Wis.) had another strong month as the Sabres on both the offensive and defensive end of the court. Pinson ranked second on the squad for the month averaging 12.4 points per game for the month but led the squad with 28 assists and 21 steals. He was also second on the team with 30 total rebounds for a 4.3 rebounds per game average. Pinson had three games where he recorded double-digit points including a career-high 31 points against Rockford where he went 12-19 (.632) from the field including 4-7 (.571) from beyond the arc. On the defensive end, he had five games with multiple steals with a six-steal performance coming against Martin Luther at home.
Serchen (Richfield, Wis.) continued to lead the Sabres in scoring and rebounds to earn the Sabre of the Month award. Serchen led the way in scoring for the Sabres with 13.3 points per game off of 40-95 (.421) shooting, while also pulling down 6.5 rebounds per game including a total of 18 offensive boards. She had four games with double-digit points during the month including a season-high 27-point performance against MSOE where she shot 12-21 (.571) from the field. In the post, she went on to close the month with four consecutive games of at least eight rebounds with her best performance being nine rebounds against Nazareth where five of her boards were on the offensive end.
