Barber selected as CCIW Bowler of the Week

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Junior Isabelle Barber of Marian University women’s bowling has been selected as the CCIW Bowler of the Week.

Barber (Cheboygan, Mich.) helped lead Marian to a ninth-place finish at the USBC Sectionals over the weekend. She participated in 90-percent of the 64 Baker games and had an 86-percent fill rate. Barber also finished with a 46-percent strike rate, was 17-for-20 in single pin attempts and 22-for-30 in multiple spare attempts.

This is her first Bowler of the Week selection and she becomes the fifth different Sabre to earn the award.

Marian heads to the CCIW Tournament March 5-6.
