Relief prints inspired by the graphic storytelling of the Wordless Novel, a precursor for the modern graphic novel. This silent narrative genre originated in the early 20th Century as seen in the art of Frans Masereel, Otto Nückel, Lynd Ward, and the German Expressionists.
