Brain Chips and Whole Brain Emulation Could Ensure Football’s Survival (Part I)
2019 Academic Symposium
Ridenour 115
The legal and business narratives of brain chips, and “whole brain emulation” as applied to football player concussions will be reviewed during this presentation. When evaluating the advancement of football players from a biological being to a synthetic competitor ethical considerations, legal scrutiny and business analysis are imperative. Specifically, where to legally “draw the lines” will be influenced by public policy concerns and social construction assertions.
