7.17.2018 – Faces of Marian: Mary Bernier
“I’m from Oshkosh, Wisconsin. My daughter attended Marian. I’ve been with Marian for 11 years. I found out about the job though a newspaper ad. I process incoming and out-going mail and packages. I also do print requests for brochures, tests, syllabi, and many other things.
I love working with the faculty, staff, and students at Marian. People live the core values here. I also like that we are a faith-based organization. It is welcoming here. I am treated well, with respect and dignity.
In 2016, I was awarded the Sr. Marie Scott award. This award is given by students to someone who serves as a great support and ally to students. This was a great honor.
My advice to students is get involved. Marian is a smaller campus and is many times a great fit for our students. Go to student life events and get involved in athletics. I know our students are special and I want to help them accomplish all they can while they’re here.”
