student Tavaris McCullough If you’ve ever attended a Marian University men’s basketball game, he’s given you 100% reason to remember his name – Tavaris McCullough. With every basket the senior makes comes the echo of announcers rejoicing over his Sadoff Gymnasium heroics, but it’s his passion for the game that keeps him driving.  The business sports and recreational management major views basketball as a way to “build bonds and make connections with people from all over the country … to travel and experience new things.” But experiencing knew things won’t end when he graduates in May, as once his playing career ends his coaching one starts. He aspires to coach or manage his own basketball program, and as someone who’s won State and works hard every day to improve his game, we can’t think of anyone more qualified for the job. While he loves to spend time with friends and eating his favorite foods, this summer you’re most likely to find him in a gym working harder than ever to help the Sabres win an NACC Championship and solidify his name in the Marian history books.
