Aliece Kerscher is a senior at Marian University majoring in nursing with a minor in Spanish.

“I work at the gym on campus and I also hold a position as the Service Chairman on the Marian University Student Nurses Association (MUSNA) board. We’re really involved with providing community service to the nursing students and really connecting the nursing community to everyone else. I also tutor nursing students and I am a CNA for Home Health Care.

I grew up in Green Bay, WI and played soccer and volleyball all throughout my life and then I came to Marian and played soccer as well. I also played the piano for about 8 years. I don’t think anyone knows that. I stopped when I was going to high school.

I would love to work in a hospital in Green Bay after college and once I have some experience I want to do traveling nursing in a third world country. I want to be able to use my Spanish-speaking skills to help others through nursing.

My favorite thing about Marian is being able to talk to anyone. I love being able to recognize almost everyone on campus, and we have so much school spirit. I came to have my tour and the tour guide said that you can have a coffee with your teacher and your teacher would sit and talk to you. I can meet up with my teachers whenever I need help.”
