Student Jack LundJack Lund just finished his junior year as a biology major.

“I’m from Antigo, Wisconsin. I like to hang out with my friends who all like to play video games, go to eat at King Chef, workout, and play sports. My favorite sport is basketball…I’ve played for 17 years!

I like the smaller class sizes at Marian and getting to know my professors. Being able to ask questions whenever I need to has helped me be successful. I also like that I don’t have to walk too far to get anywhere on campus. That’s really nice.

I am part of a two-time champion intermural basketball team. I really enjoy intermurals and encourage everyone to join…but be careful, I broke my thumb playing flag football. I’ve also done the roller coaster for midnight madness. Here’s a fun fact about me: I have taught one class at Marian University because my professor was not able to make class. The rest of the students asked me to do it. There was candy and a jeopardy game involved.

My advice to other students is don’t be afraid to go and get help from professors. They are here to help you.”
