4.17.2019 – Faces of Marian: Kylie Schoenhaar
Kylie Schoenhaar is a junior from Markesan, Wisconsin, and she is majoring in music. She lives by four S’s: sleep, “Supernatural”, soup, and singing. As a creative individual, she enjoys taking writing classes and studying music. One of her goals is to travel and learn about music from various cultures. At Marian, she is a member of Chamber Choir, Vocal Jazz, and Women’s Chorale. She has also participated in Art Club, Wind Ensemble, and Side B, and she attends nearly every on-campus event.
She chose Marian because she was attracted to the Music Department. She felt as though Marian would foster her talents and fit her individual goals for her career in music. Her advice to current and future students is “Remove the things that subtract from your life and start focusing on what adds to your life. You’ll be happier and less stressed.”
