4.1.2019 – Happy April Fool’s Day!
There’s no foolin’ as we begin the countdown to the fifth annual Day of Giving fundraiser on April 25. This year you can choose to support the Working Families Grant Program or the Marian Fund – or both! So, in the spirit of preparing for the Day of Giving happening on 4.25, I wanted to give you four and a quarter reasons why to give.
First reason is why these two? Let me tell you about the Marian Fund. This fund provides need-based scholarships, improves teaching and learning experiences by updating classroom technology (not like my day when we scratched in the dirt or on cave walls).
The Working Families Grant Program provides financial assistance to low-income, single parents who want to complete their bachelor’s degree. And this year we feature three interesting graduates from the program – the first one will be this Thursday!
