3.6.2019 – Faces of Marian: Emily Hill
Emily Hill, a sophomore from Algonquin, Illinois, is majoring in nursing and minoring in Spanish and music. She considers herself a dedicated student, maintaining a heavy academic load while remaining actively involved on-campus. Besides school, she enjoys soccer, singing, working out, and spending time with friends and family. Her twin brother, Austin, also attends Marian.
On-campus, Emily is involved in the Honors Program, the Women’s Soccer team, intramural sports, Chamber Singers, Vocal Jazz, and the spring play. She chose Marian because of the opportunity to play soccer with a team in which she fits in well. She is also grateful to pursue a nursing degree and both her passions for Spanish and music. Her advice to students is “Cherish the memories you make here at Marian while staying true to yourself. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes, and always remember to come back to your roots and be proud of who you are and who you’ve become.”
