student Erin ButzkeErin Butzke, a senior from Fond du Lac, WI, is majoring in marketing and minoring in communications. She values relationships and thoroughly enjoys getting to know others by listening to their stories and passions. Her philosophy is to find good in everyone. Her hobbies include sports, reading, and watching movies.

Erin chose Marian because of the opportunity to play soccer while earning her undergraduate degree. When she began her studies at Marian, she was unsure of her future career path, and the Marian faculty and staff were able to assist her with her search for the right career path. As she transfers into being an alumna, she believes that the skills and knowledge she gained here have prepared her for her career.

On-campus, Erin is involved in SAAC, Sabre Squad, Model UN, Student Senate, Business Club, the Honors Program, and plays on the Women’s Soccer team. Her advice to students is “Get involved right away as a freshman. Immerse yourself with anything that you can get your hands on. I started my involvement by joining SAAC which is composed of many other student-athletes. Throughout my collegiate career, I have now made my way to being involved in several areas. Work every day to become greater and hold yourself accountable. “
