“I’m from a really small town in Saskatchewan, Canada called Maidstone. I grew up on a farm with beef cattle and grain land. I enjoy 4-H, hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. I started playing hockey when I was 3. I also played baseball in the summers with our town’s Senior League team. I’m a Certified Personal Trainer and in the process of getting my Nutrition Certification as well.

I want to go into Sports Medicine or Physical Therapy school. Then, run my own gym/wellness center. There are lots of opportunities down here, even if I just start here to learn and get established and then I can move back home probably.

I came to Marian for hockey and I chose it in the recruiting process because of the small campus, nice town, and small class sizes. The more I’m here, I realize the opportunities with the research in the science department are awesome. I think all the small class sizes and the professors are really helpful. All the athletes are interconnected and really cooperative. I absolutely made the right choice. I live off campus so I get to see a little more of the town too. We’ve done a lot of bowling, me and my roommate. There’s lot of things to keep you busy.”
