11.14.2018 – Faces of Marian: Alyssa Babler
Alyssa Babler is from Fond du Lac and is a freshman majoring in radiological technology. She is currently a member of Campus Ministry and hopes to play intramural softball in the future. Outside of Marian, she enjoys outdoor activities such as bow hunting, four-wheeling, fishing, and vacationing at her family’s cabin in Langlade, Wisconsin.
She chose Marian because she was attracted to the radiological technology program. She believes that this program will equip her with the skills that she needs to possess to be successful in her field. Her experience at Marian has provided her with options in assisting her with college expenses.
As a commuter student, Alyssa’s advice for students is, “When I go home, I feel as if I miss out on what is going on with friends on-campus. I believe living on-campus is a great opportunity to form relationships with other students, so if you can afford it, take advantage of living on-campus. If you live off-campus, push yourself to get involved in clubs or at events.”
