10.4.2017 – Faces of Marian: Morgan Gorges
“I’m from New London, Wisconsin. I have an older sister and younger brother, as well as 2 dogs, Eddie and Khloe. I really enjoy kayaking and camping and spending time with my family. I love to read and do art projects.
I decided to go to Marian because I believed it would open up a lot of doors and opportunities for me. I wanted to get involved and I’ve been able to do just that with all the activities on campus.
I like the people and the community-like atmosphere here at Marian. People here are helpful and looking out for your best interest. The Marian community is like a home away from home.
Getting involved on campus is easy and rewarding. I’m in my 4th year as the softball manager. I’m a new member of the Exercise and Sports Science club. I’m a member of the resident hall association. I’m in my 3rd year as a Resident Assistant (RA) and also work at One-Stop. I like to keep busy.
My advice to other students is to try new things, even if they scare you, because if you never try, you will never know.”
