Academic Services and FERPA information
Learn about the Center for Academic Support & Excellence (CASE) and the Learning & Writing Center at Marian. These services are free to students and encompass how our academic advisors work with students, services available including testing, disability, tutoring, and support in math, reading, science, and writing. FERPA is the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 and a federal law that outlines the privacy of student records. We encourage you to review the handout.

Campus Ministry
Our Campus Ministry is open to students of all faiths and interests looking for opportunities to connect with God and their fellow classmates. In addition to offering regular Sunday Mass and Bible Study, Campus Ministry also plans Faith Sharing, Holy Day and yearly Retreat events. The Campus Ministry Club meets twice each month and explores ways for students to get involved in the Marian and Fond du Lac communities, including serving meals to the homeless and trips to the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help and Holy Hill. The Campus Ministry building is open as a place to study, meditate and create bonds with others.
Campus Safety and Parking
Feeling safe in one’s environment is an important factor in a learning environment. Campus Safety Officers are on 24/7 and patrol Marian’s grounds on a regular basis. Career Services
Marian’s Career Services office provides experiential learning and career exploration for students who are looking to experience different workplace environments prior to graduation.
Counseling Services
Marian’s Counseling Services offers free confidential services for students. Whether you are already diagnosed with anxiety or depression or are in need of learning more about past experiences or questions that you may have. From working through grief from a loss, relationships, or the stress of transitioning to college away from home, our counseling services are available.
EXCEL Program
Marian’s EXCEL Program provides students with support and encouragement in their transition to college by setting clear expectations for academic performance, offer small-classesthat provide opportunities for individualized learning.
First-Year Studies
Our First-Year Studies program provides each student a student and faculty mentor to assist with coursework and their transition to college. FYS includes the oversight of the First-Year Seminar (GEN:101) class that teaches critical thinking, reading, and questioning while putting social responsibility into action.

Information Technology
From Wi-Fi throughout campus to the TechHUB, Marian’s IT services is here to assist you with your technical needs and questions.
Student Health Services
Marian provides free health services that promote health and wellness to students. The Health Office is run by a Registered Nurse who provides health screenings, education, check of vitals, treatment of minor conditions, etc. Students are referred to a Nurse Practitioner if symptoms warrant.
Study Abroad
Marian offers a variety of Study Abroad opportunities that will compliment your major, enhance your learning, and encourage your curiosity. Learn more from students who went on trips, look through the photo gallery, and the study abroad program.
TRIO-Student Support Services (SSS)
Students who are selected to participate in the TRIO-Student Support Services program will receive individualized assistance from professional staff members who assist in navigating the college experience. Learn more about the TRIO/SSS program.
