Examines and develops the capacity to comprehend, lead and manage change from any stance within an organization. Builds and expands upon the theoretical models mastered in Management 660, Managing Ambiguity and Uncertainty. Focus will be on managing complexity to further develop capacity to a) take pragmatic and timely actions to establish a vision of the emerging future and make it real; b) distinguish between bubbles, adaptive, reflective and generative change; c) distinguish necessary action; and d) practice leading from the “ecosystem of innovation”.
