Bachelor of Construction Management
Coming Soon – Marian University is developing a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management
The US Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that construction management has an 11% growth rate, which means that it is a growing profession with increasing job opportunities. Today, the construction industry is looking for strong leaders with a myriad of skills: project management, scheduling, workforce management, regulatory knowledge, communication, budgeting, and risk management.
Given the increasing labor market indicators, Marian University is excited to be embarking on the journey to build a Construction Management program. Our program will provide both in-class and experiential education in order to prepare students for all facets of construction management, from planning and budgeting, to coordinating a workforce. Students will learn how to manage a project from the concept phase all the way to completion and delivery phase. Most importantly, Marian students will learn the critical management and leadership skills that make the difference between a good project outcome and a one that is highly successful.
Marian University is currently an Applicant for the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE) Accreditation.
