Marian University is seeking a program director for its graduate program in Thanatology to assume duties beginning in the 2021-2022 academic year. The university offers both the Master of Science in Thanatology and the graduate certificate in Thanatology. Responsibilities include developing program course schedules, hiring adjunct faculty, providing academic advising, and teaching an appropriate course load to be determined.

Applicants for this role should hold a doctoral degree with an emphasis in any area of death, dying, and bereavement and demonstrate appropriate teaching, scholarship, and service to merit academic rank and placement on the tenure track; willingness to support the Mission and Core Values of Marian University.
