The Education program at Marian University, WI, invites applications for a full-time, tenure track, Assistant Professor in the area of Special Education, beginning August 2021. Qualified candidates will be team-oriented, committed to academic excellence, and foster equity, diversity and inclusive practices. Must be available to teach face-to-face and online courses. Key teaching focus on special education; working knowledge of special education law, K-12 literacy, Understanding by Design, inclusive practices, WI Academic Standards, and online/face-to-face course delivery platforms essential. Additional courses may include elementary/middle/secondary methods in science, social studies and/or mathematics.
Requirements for this position are a Ph.D. in Education (or completion of dissertation by August 2021), minimum of three years of teaching experience in special education within a K-12 setting, and a willingness to support the Mission and Core Values of Marian University.
