We are accepting applications for a tenure-track, faculty position in our Education Program in the area of Early Childhood/Literacy/Reading Education. Marian University is seeking a full-time faculty to join its state-of-the-art teacher education program. A Ph.D. in education (or ability to complete dissertation by August 2020) and minimum of three years of experience in K-12 teaching required. Working knowledge of edTPA, learner-centered teaching, Understanding by Design, cross-disciplinary literacy, inclusive practices, WI Academic Standards, and online/face-to-face course delivery platforms essential. Qualified candidates will be flexible, innovative, and team-oriented. Teaching responsibilities will include courses in early childhood education, literacy/reading education, and language arts methods courses.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Requirements for this position are an earned Ph.D. (or near completion) in Education, minimum of three years’ experience within a K-12 setting, and a willingness to support the Mission and Core Values of Marian University.
