student Mel GreeneHello! My name is Melanie Greene and I am a junior nursing major with a psychology minor at Marian University. I am a first-generation college student, so deciding to go to college was both exciting and intimidating. I am so thankful I made the choice to attend Marian, to enroll in the nursing program, and to meet all the wonderful people on campus. I certainly would not have been able to attend Marian without the generous assistance from scholarship donors, and I remain extremely grateful for that and all the opportunities I have been able to take advantage of as a result.

As a nursing student, I was fortunate enough to be the first cohort to begin all my nursing courses at the Center for Health Professions. The Center for Health Professions is a Marian building strictly dedicated to the nursing program; nursing classes, simulation labs, professors, etc. are centrally located in one building which is extremely convenient for nursing students. It truly is a wonderful facility and I am thankful I have had the opportunity to attend my nursing classes there.

Overall, I cannot thank my scholarship donors enough. I love Marian and I am so appreciative of the scholarships which have given me the opportunity to attend Marian. Your generosity inspires me, and I only hope to give back to others as you have done for me.
