Helping Holy Family College students find their fit

Separated by less than 50 miles, Highway 151 isn’t the only connection that Holy Family College and Marian University have shared over the years. Both institutions were founded on the belief that experiential learning and practical work experience were the keys to taking students from global citizens to impactful innovators, and that a shared core mission and values should serve as your guide in making an impact on the complex and ever-changing world.

The unexpected closure of Holy Family College has left undergraduate and graduate students alike searching for a new educational path, and because our connection spans decades, Marian University wants to do its part in making your transition to a new institution as seamless as possible. Transferring is something you likely never thought you’d have to do, but having affectionately become known as Wisconsin’s transfer institution of choice, we can help you get through this unexpected shift.

Change your school, not your price

Because we offer the lowest net tuition of Wisconsin’s 24 private colleges and universities, you can transfer to Marian University knowing that for the 2020-2021 academic year, we are committed to matching or reducing your out of pocket expense. It will not exceed what it would have been at Holy Family College. Get started by sending your 2020-2021 FAFSA to Marian University (school code 003861). Switching shouldn’t mean spending more, and we’ll ensure this change doesn’t impact what you’re charged.

Change your school, not your major or credit total

Switching schools shouldn’t mean slowing your progress, which is why we allow for all of your credits to transfer in. And, there’s no residency requirement for transferring seniors. In addition to being known for the personalized attention we give transfer students, we also offer some of Wisconsin’s top-ranked programs. With nearly 50 majors to choose from, see if we have yours here.

Change your school, not your playing time

We sponsor 21 NCAA sports and four club teams, and we’re always growing. Marian teams have won 65 conference regular season titles and 28 conference tournament titles, and we’d love to have you help us get our next one. Check out our Sabre sports offerings here.

Change your school, not the sense of community

Being a Sabre means immersing yourself in a community where your professors and fellow classmates believe you have what it takes to make an impact and achieve your goals. Our average class size is 13, with a student-to-faculty ratio of 11:1. Here, your college experience will be meaningful, exciting and one you’ll never forget.
