The History Program at Marian University in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, seeks to hire adjunct faculty for the 2022-2023 academic year. The qualified candidate will be responsible for teaching introductory courses in Wisconsin history, American history, American government, and world history, and there will be opportunities to teach 300 and 400-level seminars in American history. All classes but one meet face-to-face, on campus.  Marian University uses Moodle as an electronic teaching platform. Faculty will need to teach to the History Program learning objectives and DPI requirements for each class, but otherwise faculty have the freedom to design course subject matter, assignments, and readings as appropriate. All courses are three credit classes and run for approximately 14 weeks each semester.

Requirements:  Must have a Master’s degree, with a minimum of 18 credits in history.
