Department Opening: Social and Behavioral Sciences

The Forensic Science Program is seeking part-time Forensic Science adjunct instructors for the Academic 2021-22 school year; starting August 30, 2021. Qualified candidates will be responsible to teach in our Undergraduate Forensic Science Program; may be responsible for teaching both online and on-campus courses. We are looking for instructors who have teaching experience in introductory forensic science courses, have a passion for their discipline and can successfully engage students and inspire enthusiasm for the course material.

Requirements: A minimum of a Master’s degree in forensic science, chemistry, biology, criminal justice, or a related field. Preference will be given to applicants with a practical experience (i.e., employment in a crime lab, forensic case work experience, and/or crime scene processing experience); and experience in online learning. Willingness to support the mission and core values of the University required.

Terms of appointment: Fixed-term terminal with a one-semester appointment.
