Department Opening: Education
Marian University is seeking adjunct instructors for its state-of-the-art teacher education program. Qualified candidates will be responsible for teaching undergraduate/graduate courses via face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online platforms in the following areas:
- Special Education
- Early Childhood Education
- Elementary/Middle Language/Secondary Science Curriculum & Methods
- Elementary/Middle Language/Secondary Mathematics Curriculum & Methods
- Elementary/Middle Language Arts Curriculum & Methods
Requirements: Master’s degree and minimum of three years of K-12 teaching experience in content area(s) required. Working knowledge of edTPA, inquiry-based learning, Understanding by Design, cross-disciplinary literacy, assessment, instructional technology, and WI Academic Standards essential.
Preferred: PhD and familiarity with competency-based education.
