There’s a free chance for high school students to get a taste of college life. While still in the Academic Program, Marian University is gearing up for this summer’s Upward Bound Math and Science Program (UBMS). For six weeks, students can immerse themselves in hands-on math and science projects. Students will even get to go to college visits, participate in experimental field trips, present their summer projects to the community, and attend various college preparation workshops. All of it is covered by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education. It’s a great opportunity for students and families who need support and assistance in college planning.
