Marian University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenured track faculty position, as Visiting Assistant Professor of Mathematics, for the 2019-2020 academic year. Responsible for teaching courses in undergraduate mathematics, for both math majors and general education courses. A normal teaching load is 12 credits per semester. Must maintain appropriate academic status updates, attendance, and records on students. Responsible for department, school and university-wide service and committee work.
The candidate for this role must hold an earned Doctorate in Mathematics (preferred) or ABD. Master’s degree required. Must have two years of instructional and/or teaching assistant experience at the collegiate level, and teaching demonstration. Willingness to support the Mission and Core Values of Marian University.
