Marian University, in Fond du Lac, WI, is currently seeking applications for the Full-time position of Support Specialist IV reporting to the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs/ Dean of Adult and Online Studies. This position promotes and supports the learning experience of Marian University students by assisting the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs and the Dean of Adult and Online Studies with administrative processes and management of the offices.

The essential functions of this role will be to provide administrative support to the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs and the Dean of Adult and Online Studies. Coordinate and manage special projects as assigned.  Establishes and maintains faculty files for full time faculty as needed.  Works cooperatively with the College of the Professions and the College of Arts, Sciences and Letters support staff and provides assistance as needed.   Assists in creating and maintaining mailing lists.  Responsible for standard office procedures.  Performs other work-related duties in support of the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs and the Dean of Adult and Online Studies.  Maintains a positive work environment by cooperating in a professional manner with the University community

The ideal candidate for this role will have a Bachelor’s Degree plus five years of administrative assistance within an office environment. A combination of education and experience may be considered.  Technology proficient, including advanced word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.  Ability to perform research via the Internet.  Strong oral and written communication skills.  Sensitivity to matters of confidentiality.  Willingly support the Mission and Core Values of the University.
