Marian University invites applications for the full-time position of Administrative Coordinator to the Office of Advancement and Alumni Relations. Reporting to the Director of Development and Annual Giving, the coordinator  is responsible for enhancing relationships with key constituents including alumni, benefactors and institutional partners by providing diversified, executive level administrative assistance.

The essential functions of this position are providing administrative support to the Senior Vice President for University Relations and the Vice President for Alumni, Advancement and Institutional Partnerships, including scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars and completing comprehensive prospect research.  Duties also include serving as a resource for benefactors, alumni and the University in gathering pertinent information as requested.  Serves as the receptionist to the Offices of Advancement and Alumni Relations.  Arranges internal and external meetings; assists in the planning of the events for the Offices of Advancement and Alumni Relations; prepares and manages the budget in partnership with select departments falling under the Vice Presidents.

The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.  Five years of executive level administrative assistant experience.  Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite, especially Word and Excel; strong oral and written communication skills.  Ability to maintain ethical comportment and high regard for confidentiality.  There must be willingness to support the Mission and Core Values of the University.
