FOND DU LAC, Wis. — The Marian University Chamber Singers will participate in the mid-week Lenten season worship services at Church of Our Saviour Lutheran on Wednesday, March 7 at 6:15 p.m. at 363 S. Main Street in Fond du Lac.

As a part of the 25th year celebration of the installation of the church’s Klaus Becker tracker organ, the choir will sing choral settings in Latin and English with a special emphasis on choral works that use the organ. This will include a Psalm setting by John Rutter, "The Lord is my Light and my Salvation," for chorus, clarinet and organ with Ryan Nowak, junior chemistry and secondary education major at Marian as the clarinetist.

The service will also feature Paul Halley’s “Agnus Dei” setting, a modern setting for chorus, organ and soprano saxophone with senior saxophone performance major Josh Borowski on soprano saxophone. In addition, the choir will sing other special hymn settings and David Hein, Assistant Professor of Music, will conduct with accompanist Paul Thelen.
