The student teams each managed a hypothetical $100,000 in an online investment portfolio for 10 weeks during the fall semester, with awards given to students managing portfolios with the highest end values.

Teammates Dmitry Sentsov from Lipetsk, Russia and Yvonne Diekvoss from Fond du Lac won first place and $100 in the competition. The third-place prize went to Karli Reiser and Jenna Whitehead , both from Fond du Lac, who will receive $25. The students will receive their awards at the Marian University School of Business awards ceremony to be held on March 22, 2012.

All of the students are seniors in the School of Business at Marian University, and participated in the Stock Market Simulation as part of a project for their investment class taught by Professor Katherine Schuessler.
