Marian University to hold Health Care Reform presentation

FOND DU LAC, Wis. - Marian University will be hosting a presentation on health care reform on Tuesday, November 16 at 6:30 p.m. in the Stayer Center Auditorium.

The presentation will feature keynote speaker Stephen F. Brenton, president/CEO of the Wisconsin Hospital Association.

Brenton joined the Wisconsin Hospital Association in 2002. He is an active advocate for federal and state government relations and currently serves as the Vice-chair of the Wisconsin Health Information Organization, a board member of the Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality, is a member of the UW-Population Health Institute Advisory board and is an advocate for Smoke Free Wisconsin. Brenton is a graduate of UW-Madison.

Fun Fact

Dorcas Chapel was built in 1966 and named for the seamstress Dorcas who shared her talents with Saint Paul. The chapel was designed to look like a sewing basket with the cross on top portraying a needle (Source: Marian University Archives).
