Marian University spring commencements set for May 14-15

FOND DU LAC, Wis. - Marian University will hold its 70th spring commencement on Friday, May 14 and Saturday, May 15 in the Howard Sadoff Gymnasium.

The Commencement weekend will begin on Friday, May 14, with the School of Nursing pinning and graduation ceremony beginning at 5:30 p.m. in Marian's Sadoff Gymnasium. Matthew Mueller, a graduating 2010 nursing student from Neenah, will be addressing the graduates.

Activities on Saturday, May 15 begin with a Graduation Liturgy in Dorcas Chapel at 9 a.m. The graduation ceremony for graduate and doctoral students starts at 10:30 a.m. in Sadoff Gymnasium. David Wanless, a 2010 Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership Studies graduate from Atlantic Mine, MI, will be giving the address.

The baccalaureate degree ceremony will start at 1:30 p.m. in the Sadoff Gymnasium. Aisha Carr, a 2010 social work graduate from Milwaukee, and Joshua Ingram, a 2010 human resources graduate from Harrisville, will be addressing the graduates.

Tickets are required for the graduation ceremonies, but not for theliturgy.
