TRiO/Student Support Services
Welcome from the Program Director
The SSS program serves students who are first-generation college students (neither parent has a bachelor’s degree), who are PELL Grant eligible and/or who have a documented physical or learning disability.
The mission of the SSS program is to help students by providing free resources, including academic assistance, tutoring, major and career development, academic coaching, study skills development, peer leadership and mentoring possibilities, personal guidance, cultural/social enrichment opportunities, assistance with financial aid, housing and other services. Additionally, the SSS program is able to provide scholarships for active SSS participants.
I encourage you to take advantage of the SSS services available to enhance your college experiences at Marian University. Please feel free to stop by my office (Admin. 206) if you should have any questions or want to share your college experience. SSS is here to assist you in staying focused and on the right path!
Sincerely,
Nhia Yang
