Men's Golf (October 13, 2009)
Sabres finish up season at NAC Tournament
(Kohler, WI) - Marian University competed in the Northern Athletics Conference Tournament on Monday and Tuesday (October 12-13) at Whistling Straits. Marian finished in seventh place with a team score of 692 (337-355). Aurora University was crowned NAC Champions with a team score of 620 (305-315). They finished ten strokes better than Edgewood College.
Edgewood's Aaron Gavin won the individual title. Gavin and Aurora's Brandon Vicory finished with a score of 150 (+6), but Gavin won the title on the first playoff hole.
Ryan Hitchcock (Butte, MT) led the Sabres with a score of 167, which placed him a tie for eighteenth place. Cory Ashbeck (Wabeno, WI) finished in a tie for twenty-fourth place with a score of 171.

Marian finishes 12th at the MSOE Invitational
(Lake Geneva, WI) - Marian University finished in 12th place at the MSOE Invitational held at Grand Geneva Golf Course on Sunday and Monday. The Sabres finished with a two-day score of 690 (353-337). Edgewood College shot a 618 to narrowly edge Benedictine University (620) for the team title.
Carthage College's Kyle Bahnick won individual medalist honor as he shot a 150 (73-77). MSOE's Elias Macias finished second with a 151 (77-74).
Marian was led by Andrew Hock's (Seymour, WI) 171 (88-83). Ryan Hitchcock (Butte, MT) finished with a 172 (86-86).
Men's Golf (September 28, 2009)
Marian tees it up at Washington County GC
(Hartford, WI) - The Sabres competed in the two-day Wisconsin Lutheran College Invitational the last two days and finished with a team score of 696 (343-353). UW-Stout won the team title with a two-day total of 619 (302-317), while Carroll University took second place with a team score of 623. Carroll's Michael Riek won the individual medalist honor with a score of 148 (72-76). Gabe Dahl from St. Norbert College took second place with a 150 (72-78).
Marian was led by Jim Wick's (Berlin, WI) 164 (82-82). Cory Ashbeck (Wabeno, WI) shot a 171 (83-88).
Men's Golf (September 20, 2009)
Sabres compete at Cress Creek Collegiate Invite
(Naperville, IL) - The Sabres took eighth place this past weekend at the Cress Creek Collegiate Invitational held at Cress Creek Country Club. Aurora University won the team title as they shot a team score of 614. Elmhurst College finished in second place with a team score of 630. Marian finished with a total score of 685.
Aurora's Brandon Vicory took home the individual medalist honor as he shot a total score of 147 (73-74).
Marian was led by Ryan Hitchcock's (Butte, MT) and Andrew Hock's (Seymour, WI) scores of 168.
