Honors Program
Think and reflect.
Analyze and interpret.
Wonder and question.
The Marian University Honors Program offers students a diverse learning environment that challenges students in their studies. The program offers a variety of co-curricular opportunities to foster the growth of the whole person, in addition to creating a community of learners within the Marian University community. Through stimulating courses and interesting activities, our goal is to assist students in developing the desire to think and reflect, to analyze and interpret, and to wonder and question. After graduating as an Honors Scholar, students will have the life experiences and intellectual tools necessary to live well and think critically, as well as differentiating themselves after completion.

“The Marian Honors Program provides interesting and unique ways for students to pursue their studies. Marian honors classes explore topics that normally do not appear in other schools' course catalogs. In taking these classes, one comes into contact with other driven individuals and enters an atmosphere that nurtures all-around excellence. The honors experience also includes weekend trips to places like Chicago and the American Players Theatre, furthering an overall dynamic of cultural exploration and self-discovery.”
