Commencement RSVP Form | Faculty/Staff/Volunteers
All students who are approaching the completion of their degree program requirements must apply to graduate from Marian University. Please apply for graduation at the beginning of the semester in which you plan to complete your degree requirements (fall, spring, or summer). The deadline to apply for graduation is no later than February 15 for the May degree conferral, June 1 for August degree conferral, and October 1 for December degree conferral.
If you wish to participate in a Commencement ceremony you must indicate this on your Application for Graduation form and complete the Commencement RSVP form above.
Marian University holds one commencement ceremony in mid-May. Detailed information regarding the commencement ceremony is available on the Spring Commencement website for those students who plan to participate in the commencement ceremony. The deadline to inform the Coordinator of Special Events of your intent to participate in the spring commencement ceremony is April 1.

Weather
- The Commencement ceremony is being held outdoors on the Marian University Campus Quad so please plan accordingly.
- Additional guest seating for Commencement will be available in the Stayer Center. Guests will be able to watch a live video feed of the ceremony.
- If the sun is shining, there's not much shade on the Campus Quad so you will want to plan accordingly. Water stations will be available to guests.

Herff Jones Cap & Gown (click here)
All graduation candidates’ are required to purchase a Herff Jones cap & gown. Orders can be placed at the Marian University Bookstore or online through Herff Jones website. Personalized commencement announcements can also be purchased at that time. Deadline to place orders from Herff Jones website is March 20 , 2012. Deadline to order from Marian Bookstore is April 6, 2012.

Public Relations Graduation Form
In order to send news releases announcing a student’s graduation, Marian University needs a public relations permission form filled out and signed by students. If you haven’t already done so, please go to the Office of University Relations, located in Townhouse B or email universityrelations@marianuniversity.edu and fill one out prior to Commencement. Official Commencement DVD
Copies of the Commencement Ceremony can be purchased for $20 each by sending in the Commencement DVD Order Form. For more information, please contact the Marian University Office of Special Events and Graduation at (920) 923-8937.
COUNTDOWN TO COMMENCEMENT: Celebration and Graduation Fair
Students are also encouraged to attend the Marian University Countdown to Commencement held on campus each semester. At the fair, staff will be available to answer questions regarding graduation and future careers. Students will have the opportunity to have a professional photograph taken in academic regalia and view class rings and announcements before ordering them.
