Marian University to present P.D.Q. Bach concert

FOND DU LAC, Wis. - Members of Marian University's music department will perform the music of P.D.Q. Bach at 7:30 p.m. on November 3 in the Hornung Student Center.

Fictitious composer P.D.Q. Bach was allegedly the youngest and least talented son of the famous Johann Sebastian Bach. Created by composer and performer Peter Schickele, P.D.Q. Bach's compositions combine the musical style of the 1700s with slapstick comedy.

Works to be performed include "Notebook for Betty-Sue Bach,""Sonata Piccola" and "Divers Ayres on Sundrie Notions" (a set of18th century singing commercials).

This event is free and open to the public.
