FOND DU LAC, Wis. — Marian University will be renewing its lease with the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish for their West Allis location. Marian offers a variety of adult accelerated, master’s and doctoral degree programs at the West Allis location, where over 450 students are currently enrolled and taking classes. The signing will occur on January 25 at 1:00 p.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, 1121 South 116th Street in West Allis.
Marian will be signing a 10-year lease, which includes a major renovation of the facility. Major changes within the facility will include a reception area, a student lounge, windows, a new heating system and whiteboards in the classrooms, in addition to painting and improving the lighting in all classrooms. The building is over 18,000 square feet and includes ten classrooms.
“As Marian continues to move forward, this lease and renovation shows our commitment to the West Allis community and to providing a quality educational environment for our adult learners,” said Dr. Steven DiSalvo, president of Marian University.
“Immaculate Heart of Mary has enjoyed their relationship with Marian University, which began seventeen years ago in 1994. We are proud to provide a location for Marian so that they may continue to be a vibrant sign of Catholic higher education in the Milwaukee Metro area. We look forward to enhancing this partnership throughout the next decade,” said Father Karl Schneider.
Alderman Narlock and Mayor Devine will be in attendance for the signing.
