Marian University to show film, “For Colored Girls”

FOND DU LAC, Wis. – Marian University’s Student Activities will be showing the film “For Colored Girls” as part of Black History Month on Friday, February 4 at 8:30 p.m. and on Monday, February 7 at 8:30 p.m. in the Stayer Center Auditorium.

The movie “For Colored Girls” is based on the play by Ntozake Shange.The movie features issues that impact women and what it means to be a female of color in the world.The movie is directed by Tyler Perry and stars Janet Jackson, Anika Noni Rose and Whoopi Goldberg.
