Marian University presents “Traveler’s Dream” musical duet

November 4, 2011

FOND DU LAC, Wis. — Marian University’s Social Justice Committee will feature a musical duet entitled “Traveler’s Dream” on Monday, November 7 at 7:00 p.m. at Common Grounds Coffeehouse.

Throughout American history, songs have been a powerful tool to unite various groups of people to fight oppression and seek social justice. Traveler’s Dream’s songs will uplift, ignite and unite listeners. Songs have a magical ability to inspire courage, create hope and tear down walls of prejudice and misunderstandings.

This event is co-sponsored by the Fond du Lac Acoustic Music Alliance fund, as part of the Fond du Lac Area Foundation.

This event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact John Morris, co-chair of the social justice committee, at jmorris@marianuniversity.edu or at (920) 923-7140.
