“Hope for Japan” efforts raise over $2,800 for Red Cross Japan8/25/2012 June 10, 2011 FOND DU LAC, Wis. — Marian University’s community-wide fundraising relief effort, “Hope for Japan,” raised over $2,800 that will be sent to Red Cross Japan. In response to the March earthquake and tsunami in Japan, Marian began the “Hope for Japan” relief efforts to help aid struggling families in Japan. Marian held collection jars and sold “Hope for Japan” t-shirts, in addition to receiving direct donations.
