As today's world advances in the digital age, a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Marian University prepares you for great opportunities as a technology professional. This program prepares students to use technology in order to help organizations solve problems. Technology skills are highly valued and in demand by most employers. Tomorrow's information managers must have a firm understanding of the variety of information needs of business and the moral and ethical duties that come with the management of sensitive information.

Inspired to help organizations use technology effectively, Marian University's Information Technology Program mixes information technology courses with business and communication classes and our strong liberal arts curriculum, working to educate the whole person. Graduates will be prepared to analyze and solve the multitude of information problems facing today's businesses and organizations. Information Technology graduates work in database administration, web design, system administration, user support services, business analysis, and database programming.

 

Marian University has received specialized accreditation for its business programs through the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE), located in Olathe, Kansas. The business programs in the following degrees are accredited by the IACBE:

  • Bachelor's Degrees. Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with majors in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Health Care Administration, Human Resources, Management, Marketing, Sport and Recreation Management; Bachelor of Science with a major in Information Technology; Bachelor of Business Administration with majors in General Management, Health Care Administration, Human Resource Management, Marketing, and Operations Management.
  • Master Degree. Master of Science in Leadership with concentration in Organizational Leadership and Quality.
