Considering a career in nursing or the health professions? You have come to the right place!  The School of Nursing and Health Professions offers some exciting career opportunities in the areas of nursing, radiologic technology, social work, advanced practice nursing and grief and bereavement.  You will have the opportunity to work with exceptional faculty and have transformative clinical or field experiences.

Our mission, which supports the University mission, is to provide excellence in education through integration of liberal arts learning and professional education that prepares professionals to provide quality health and social services to individuals, families, and communities with diverse health and social needs. Students get hands-on experience in a top-rated health care community and social service agencies facilitated by outstanding nursing faculties, which enable achievement of graduate competencies. Students are provided opportunities to develop skills as leaders who will be successful in transforming the health and well-being of our communities.

The School of Nursing and Health Professions offers both undergraduate and graduate programs.  The undergraduate programs include the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, the Bachelor of Radiologic Technology, and the Bachelor of Social Work. Graduate programs include the Master of Science in Nursing (nurse practitioner and nurse educator tracks) and the Master of Organizational Leadership and Quality with a concentration in Grief and Bereavement.  We hope these Web pages offer you a glimpse of the exciting opportunities available to you as a student.

Leadership and governance opportunities for students are available for those who wish to serve as representatives to the university or in student organizations.
